It's finally going to be official.
The long-awaited Audi e-tron will be introduced to the world next Monday, September 17th live from San Francisco.
We'll get all the deets of Audi's first all-electric SUV including pricing and specifications. Also on that day, customers will be able to reserve their e-tron online with a refundable $1,000 reservation fee at www.audiusa.com/etron.
One of the specs on the Audi e-tron that may be of interest is the vehicle integrated toll payment technology that will be launched as standard equipment. The mirror-based toll payment solution makes it easy to access toll roads while helping to eliminate windscreen clutter and the need to manage multiple toll accounts.
The world premiere will take place on Sept. 17, 2018, at 11:30 p.m. EDT / 8:30 p.m. PDT – Audi of America will broadcast the event live online on the following channels:
Audi USA YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyrLwVRTYNg
Audi USA Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/audi/
Audi USA Twitter handle: https://twitter.com/Audi
The e-tron is expected to be delivered to showrooms in the first part of 2019. It will be the first of three battery-electric vehicles that Audi plans to debut by 2020.
